Back in 2016, we started an experiment. We asked a few of our reporters to pose as underage girls on mobile chat apps, to see how many sex predators would proposition them.
The results absolutely shocked us. Every time we activated the “friend finder” feature on these apps, we were almost guaranteed to receive obscene sexual advances.
