As I sank into a deliciously soft seat facing a gigantic flat screen television playing raucous music videos, I couldn’t help but think: now this is a party!

As if in agreement, the mixologist in the far corner plopped a chunk of ice into a glass and mixed up a concoction that had my mouth watering in seconds.

Where was I, you might ask? Aboard a luxury yacht in the middle of the ocean? Nope. In one of KL’s swankiest clubs? Wrong again.

I probably wouldn’t have guessed it myself, except here I was aboard F&N’s Fun Blast Party Bus, having a whale of a time. The bus was glitzy and glamorous, kitted out in the way I always imagined The Rolling Stones would have fashioned their tour bus – psychedelic bar at one end, a big screen television taking centre stage, a karaoke machine and selfie booth to keep up with 21st century demands and seats so plush, you could easily take a nap on them.

A mixologist will be on hand to put together some delicious mocktails on the bus.

I couldn’t tear myself away from F&N’s pimped-out ride, and neither will you if you ever get a chance to get on it. Here’s how you can though:

F&N is organising the F&N Fun Blast contest on their F&N Fun Facebook page at http://bit.ly/FNNfunblast2 or the mobile site http://bit.ly/FNNfunblastmob2. Participants will have to play a game that requires them to match the right ingredients to create F&N Ice Cream Soda beverages.

The interior of the party bus looks like the inside of a very glitzy club.

Six lucky winners will be chosen and each winner will get to party on the F&N Fun Blast Party with six friends. The bus will be equipped with a mixologist making signature F&N Ice Cream Soda concoctions, and a popular radio DJ playing all the top hits and games to keep guests entertained, including fun activities like karaoke sing-offs and beverage-making contests.

The contest runs until 22 Dec and is open to all Malaysian residents aged 13 and above, so you best get moving if you want to take a ride on the wild side!
