The mysterious unknown, aliens.
The Fourth Kind is a sci-fi thriller which revolves around alien encounters and abductions. I wasn't expecting much from the movie and even doubted that it would captivate or interest me.
However, the director certainly proved me wrong!
I had an adrenaline rush throughout the whole movie; and I only had a few instances to relax. The Fourth Kind is freaky!
The movie is basically about how a group of people try to solve the mysterious and unexplained disappearances of townsfolk in Alaska, which happened decades ago.

Milla Jovovich stars in The Fourth Kind. |
According to the plot, there are four kinds of alien encounters. The first one is the sighting of a UFO. The second encounter involves hard evidence like unexplainable crop circles etc.
The third one is when you make contact. And fourth, which is most terrifying of all, is abduction.
The fact that the film used actual facts and footage made it all the more believable. That’s right, real clips were used. Watching this movie will simply push you to question what we really know bout aliens.
The Fourth Kind is definitely not for the faint-hearted and most definitely is not for children below the age of 15. It will drive them CRAZY! There are no lovey dovey scenes or no choreographed action scenes, none of those.
The movie will leave you with a sense of hopelessness, just like how filmmaker M. Night Shyamalan did in Signs, but worse!
The Fourth Kind, based on a true story by Olatunde Osunsanmi, stars Milla Jovovich, Will Patton, and Hakeem Kae-Kazim.
