MAKE it a point to drop by the Canon booths at the FemmeCity event, held at KL Convention Centre from July 30 to Aug 1.

Exciting activities and promotions await visitors at the Canon booths.

If you’re 16 years old (and above) and at FemmeCity with your best friend(s) or favourite stuffed animal, be sure to participate in Canon’s best friend forever (BFF) contest.

All you have to do is snap a picture with your “BFF” in the most fun and creative manner at the Photo Wall located between the main stage and Canon booth.

The Canon Ixus 130

Print your photo on the Selphy photo printer provided and submit your entry with your contact details and a slogan in fewer than 15 words. The slogan must include the phrases “BFF” and “Canon”.

Each participant is allowed only one contest entry.

The first prize winner stand to win a Digital IXUS 130 (one unit), second place will get a Digital IXUS 120IS (one unit) and the third, a Digital IXUS 95IS (one unit).

Seven consolation prize winners will take home a Canon PowerShot A490.

Judging will be conducted by representatives from The Star and Canon, and will be based on the most fun and creative photo submission.

Winners’ list will be published in The Star newspaper and online at www.thestar.com.my by the end of August.

Another highlight at FemmeCity is Canon’s trade-in programme.

All visitors have to do is bring along their compact, DSLR and video cameras to be evaluated at the Canon booth at FemmeCity.

Upon evaluation, they will be given a value card, and then select the camera of their choice, “trade-in” the used camera and purchase their selected camera at a special FemmeCity promotional price.

Do note that the trade-in programme does not include accessories such as batteries, lenses, or flash units. Also, there is no fixed price for this programme and is subject to the condition of the used camera(s).
