WHENEVER we bring our BRATs young journalist camp to a particular city, we always encourage the participants to find some hidden, untold stories from the locals that will inspire the rest of the country.
At the BRATs Malacca 2014 camp, they definitely achieved that.
Last week, we already published stories on the hidden heritage and history all over Heeren Street, the restoration of the Cheng Ho Tea House and Melissa Chan, the fifth-generation Peranakan Chinese who quit her job in Kuala Lumpur to help preserve Peranakan culture in Malacca.
And today, we have more amazing stories for you, all thanks to the 32 awesome participants of BRATs Malacca 2014.
And guess where we’re going for our final BRATs camp of 2014 – Langkawi! We’ll be there from December 10-13 =)
