Just because it’s still early in the year doesn’t mean it will be a quiet period for competitive e-sports – not when you’ll have the Call of Duty Championship coming up in March!
Game publisher Activision has just announced the third of its annual championship for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare to be held in March 27-29 in Los Angeles. And the prize pool is a whopping USD1 million (about RM3.5 million)!
If that’s not enough to hype you up, then check out the tournament’s trailer:
The tournament will pit the 32 best teams in the world against each other, with the qualifying and regional events to be held online through Xbox One and broadcasted online via Major League Gaming’s platform, MLG.tv.
The final matches at the venue, instead, will be broadcast live on Xbox Live along with the tournament’s other broadcast partners that they have yet to identify.
Think you’re good enough to go against the best in the first-person shooter game? Then sign right up! The 2015 Call of Duty Championship is open to everyone – pros and amateurs alike. Registration for the tournament is free, too!
