When someone asks you to train with a high school sports team, you’d probably think “yeah, I could do that”.
But what if that high school sports team was the FIVE-time national cheerleading champions? Radio deejay JJ attempted to answer that question as part of his CHEER Celebrity Supporter duties.
He surprised the cheerleaders at their school mid-way through their training, and attempted one session — stamina training. He very nearly passed out. Check it out:
The session includes ten counts of burpees, quick feet, leg kicks, ab flutter kicks, side mountain climbers, double butt kicks, side & straight jumps and superman bounces. And that’s just one session!
JJ will now be supporting the Cyrens at CHEER 2015 alongside his Red FM breakfast show co-host Ezra Mei.
CHEER is Malaysia’s biggest cheerleading competition, and the 2015 Finals will be held on Aug 15 at the Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre. Admission is free, so drop by to see whether the Cyrens can make it SIX championships in a row!
