FOR those who have been crying over Amanda Bynes’ premature retirement from the entertainment industry, get over it already.

The 24-year-old actress who announced her plans to quit acting on Twitter confirmed her ”un-retirement” on — where else? — Twitter as well.

Last month, the star of She's The Man ''shocked'' (for the lack of better, less-important sounding word) the world with news of her retirement.

If you don’t have a Twitter account (what’s wrong with you?) and do not follow Amanda (it’s okay, I do it only for work purposes), here’s what the actress had to say about her decision: ”I’ve never written the movies & tv shows I’ve been a part of. ”I’ve only acted like the characters the producers or directors wanted me to play. Being an actress isn’t as fun as it may seem. If I don’t love something anymore I stop doing it. I don’t love acting anymore so I’ve stopped doing it.”

Or did she stop acting because nobody is offering her any roles? Just saying. Her last memorable show was Hairspray which came out in 2007. Anyway, this is how she ended her Twitter rant: ”I know 24 is a young age to retire but you heard it here first I’ve #retired.”

Unfortunately for her non-fans, Amanda didn’t keep to her words. Just a few days ago, her Twitter account carried this message: ”I’ve unretired” and a link to the trailer of Amanda’s new movie Easy A with a note ”Check it out :)”.

Ugh, just when you thought you’re finally rid of her, she decides to come back! To be honest, I don’t hate her, but Amanda’s stardom train has left the station a long time ago and it ain’t coming back anytime soon.

There’s no point in reminding people of the person she used to be. The more she shoves her personality down our throats, the more we want to regurgitate and I can assure you that it’ll leave a bad taste behind.

She should re-think her unretirement and do a Mickey Rourke, you know … take a long break and then come back with a wham, bam, crazy good performance like he did in The Wrestler.

As a matter of fact, there are a few ''entertainers'' who would gain a whole lot of good taking a voluntary separation from their respective industries.

First on the list is none other than Ashley Tisdale. Really. Do we want to see a movie dedicated to Sharpay Evans, the annoying character Ashley played in those High School Musical films?

No, but guess what, it’s out of our hands. Ashley, who tried her darndest best to break out of the HSM mould is executive producing High Stakes, a spin-off of the HSM franchise. That’s not breaking the mould, girl! That’s fitting even more snugly into it.

Right behind the squeaky voiced Ashley (who also didn’t cut it as a singer) is Vanessa Hudgens, whose ”mature” movies Beastly and Sucker Punch we have yet to watch. But, judging by the movies’ posters, Vanessa at least shows that she’s attempting to get away from the cookie-cutter Disney kid label.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t hide the fact that we’ve seen V’s skills, and we’re none too impressed — neither with her acting nor vocal talents. It baffles me why these girls are still around. Isn’t High School Musical like, so yesterday?

Speaking of ''so yesterday'', Hilary Duff too needs to take a break.

(FYI, So Yesterday is Hilary’s only memorable single) Hilary has been struggling with her acting career, which is kinda obvious from the lack of movie roles the girl has been getting lately.

And to make herself busy, she created a production house which caters to making movies and TV shows she could act in, you know, since she’s not getting any offers from anyone else. The last time we saw Hilary was as Olivia Burke, in Gossip Girl (which popularity is also dwidling, by the way).

It was painful to watch her act, if you could call it that, and it was obvious that the girl desperately needs acting lessons more than movie offers. So yeah, taking an indefinite break sound pretty good now, doesn’t it?

Well, one can argue that these girls are young and that it’s unfair to tell them to can it even before they’ve reached their peak but hey, if you can’t act at 20, there’s a good chance you still can’t at age 40 either.

So, basically, we’re just saving Amanda, Ashley and the whole gang from heart breaks and eventually turning into a piece of joke like Kate Hudson or Tom Cruise or Cameron Diaz. Ugh, let’s not even go there.
