WHAT would our lives be without some crazy celebrity news? Pretty boring. Well it’s a good thing then that the folks over at Hollywood have been busy giving us plenty of things to talk about this time around. Here’s a roundup on what’s been going on in Tinseltown recently.

A new gal for Robbie?

Does Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson have a new girl in his life? Well, maybe.
The actor, who recently broke up with girlfriend Kristen Stewart (again) was seen hanging out with singer Katy Perry at a Bjork concert in Hollywood.

X17Online photographer who was at the concert venue said: “Katy came out the back door by herself, trying not to be noticed. She was looking around to see if there were any photographers. She definitely didn’t want to be shot with Rob.”

Although rumours were swirling last month that Perry is the reason behind K-Patz’ second break-up, sources claim that the duo are nothing but friends.

In fact, it was also reported that Perry is back in a relationship with her ex-boyfriend John Mayer.

Sharm says: Rob and Katy? Erm … don’t like the pairing. Sorry.

Hot hip hop mess

Is the world ready for Amanda Bynes the hip-hop singer? Let’s hope not.

The actress was reportedly approached by Chinga Chang Records for a record deal, and the label owner, Daniel Herman, told RadarOnline that he even contacted Bynes’ lawyers to negotiate a contract.

This offer came after Bynes tweeted her aspiration to become a singer last month. She said:

“Look forward to seeing me in music videos! I’m getting in shape and getting a nose job! I’m looking forward to a long and wonderful career as a singer/rapper!”

Sharm says: Uhm … is anyone actually looking forward to seeing Bynes in a music video?

Tardiness much?

Did Rihanna just pull a Justin Bieber by showing up super-late at her own concert? Yes, she did.

The Bajan beauty was scheduled to perform in Wales but turned up two hours late at the venue. It was reported that the singer had been partying until 4am the night before.

Annoyed concert-goers took to Twitter to unleash their frustration and some even complained that RiRi was lip-synching during some of her performances.

This is the third time RiRi has been late for her concert in two weeks.

Sharm says: Well, at least she showed up for the concert. That must count for something.
