Trust everyone had a hell of a gaming year. Well, I’ll have to say that there were plenty of highlights and a couple of unintended lowlights for me, gaming-wise.

Boardgamegeek.com is a favorite website of mine. It’s pretty much the Wikipedia for all games – boardgames, deck-building games, living card games and even trading card games. There’s actually various “best of the year” lists in the forums there, but this “50 most purchased games of December 2012” and the “worst of 2012” list looks to have generated plenty of discussion there.

All I can say is, if you’re looking to defend or clarify any of those viewpoints, you know what to do. If you’re looking to explore some new games, then hey, take your time with the lists – it’s pretty extensive!
