WE love talking about the stars (as if we know them personally) and it’s really awesome that they too give us plenty to talk about.
Here is some of the celeb news that made the cut this week:
A star in the making
Move over David and Victoria Beckham, there’s a new fashionista in town and he’s ready to take over the world. The famous couple’s 10-year-old son Romeo has taken his first step in becoming the next model in the family.
Romeo, the obvious fashionista among the young Beckham brothers, has been selected as the star of Burberry’s Spring/Summer 2013 campaign and boy, does he look cute in the photographs shot by famed photographer Mario Testino.
Burberry’s chief creative officer Christopher Bailey said in a statement that Romeo “was a joy to work with and really stole the show.”
Sharm says: Work it Romeo! Can’t wait to see the day that Harper follows in her mum’s footsteps… It’ll definitely be cute.
Trouble in paradise?
Uh-oh. Is one of Hollywood’s favourite couples heading for a separation? Let’s hope not. Andrew Garfield and his lady love Emma Stone – who were inseparable for most of the year – have not been photographed together since mid-November and you know what that means in the celebrity world … break up.
There have been reports that their relationship is on the rocks, and the couple have been photographed going on with their daily lives and business by themselves.
Sharm says: Or they are just doing their own things like most other couples do … Sheesh.
Baby news
Is everyone ready for the sexiest baby in the world … ever? Well, they better be. Channing Tatum, who was voted as this year’s Sexiest Man Alive, and wife Jenna Dewan are expecting their first child together.
Tatum’s reps told People magazine: “(The couple are) pleased to announce that they are expecting the birth of their first child next year.”
The couple wed in 2009 and Tatum recently joked that he would love to have lots of kids – if only his wife would be okay with it.
“It’s really easy for us guys to say, ‘I want, like, 15 kids.’ Jenna will be like, ‘Well you better get another wife!’”
Sharm says: Congratulations to the sexy couple! I wonder if they’ll ever let their kid watch daddy in Magic Mike.
Another baby news
Can it be true that Jennifer Aniston is a mum in the making? The 43-year-old actress was recently photograped covering her stomach, she is rumoured to have stopped consuming alcohol, and she has also pulled out of two up-coming movies. Well, all that just points to the rumour being true.
And last Saturday, the actress was seen showing off a tiny bump as she walked out of a spa in Beverly Hills.
Sharm says: Or she could’ve just had a big meal that day, simply wants to quit drinking and is just tired of acting.
In denial
If there is one person Lindsay Lohan could count on, it has to be her lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley. When the paparazzi asked about her high profile client’s current situation, the lawyer seemed to imply that she’s not too concerned about Lilo getting sent to the slammer.
“Why would you think she’d go to jail?” she asked. Erm, has Holley forgotten the list of trouble LiLo is currently in? A revoked probation, cat fight in New York City, crashing her Porsche … the list just goes on.
When an X17Online videographer brought up the actress’ legal woes, Holley reportedly laughed and brushed the topic off.
Sharm says: This is why LiLo is always in trouble. The people around her don’t want to accept the reality and keep making excuses for the girl.
Biebs snubbed
Justin Bieber is upset he did not receive any Grammy nominations this year and he wants everyone to know it. The singer made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and talked about how he felt getting snubbed.
“(It was) a big bummer, I would say that definitely. I was looking forward to it but I know it will happen one day … I’m so young. I’m only 18. I’m just blessed to be able to do what I love everyday.”
He also talked about the controversy over his outfit when meeting the Canadian Prime Minister last month. FYI, he wore a pair of overalls.
“I was at my concert. I was doing like a meet and greet, meeting all my fans and stuff and he came to the venue where I was performing … I know it wasn’t fair but that was really my event. I really promise if I would have gone to his environment, I would have been all done up.”
Sharm says: If Gwyneth Paltrow could win an Oscar, I’m pretty sure no one would be surprised if Bieber won a Grammy one day.
Tell us what you think!
