The R.AGE Food Fight workshops

Before the finale, the five finalists received training by some of the best in the business.

Chef Wan treats the finalists to an exclusive masterclass – and lunch. Chef Liang also gives them a workshop on presentation skills.

French master chef Rodolphe Onno puts the finalists to the test, by asking them to cook their palm oil recipes under his watchful eye. Chef Darren and KY Speaks also give their masterclasses after Chef Rodolphe’s session.

About R.AGE Food Fight

The search for Malaysia’s next food celebrity is on.

Win the chance to host your own online food series, write a food column in The Star,
and get culinary arts training from Le Cordon Bleu.

On top of that, you’ll get RM10,000 to kickstart your foodie dreams.

IF you’ve always wanted to make a living from being a foodie, here’s the best chance you’ll ever have.

The R.AGE Food Fight will give one lucky winner (aged 18-35) the chance to write a food column in The Star and host his/her own food video series on rage.com.my.

But that’s not all. The five finalists will get to learn from the best in the business to help with their foodie careers.

We’re talking about masterclasses with Chef Wan, Chef Rodolphe Onno from our Food Fight partners Le Cordon Bleu Malaysia, Chef Darren Chin of Restaurant DC and food blogger KY Speaks.

And just to sweeten the deal, there will also be RM10,000 cash for the winner, RM3,000 for the runner-up and RM1,000 for the second runner-up.

All you gotta do is send us an original video of yourself preparing a dish incorporating our featured ingredient, something truly Malaysian – palm oil – and mention at least ONE of its many benefits.

Your video should come with an accompanying blogpost, something to complement your video. It could be a breakdown of the recipe, additional tips, or just the inspiration behind the video.

The submissions are closed, but you can view this year’s contestants in the blog loop below to get some ideas for next year!
