RAISE a hand, anyone who immediately pictures cover-alls, plaid shirts and cowboy hats at the mention of “country music”. While these fashion elements have defined American country music for years, times have changed, and country fashion is now a lot more glamorous than you think.

The 46th Country Music Awards (CMA) was recently held at the flashy Las Vegas in Nevada, the United States. The show honoured people like Taylor Swift, Miranda Lambert, Lady Antebellum and Zac Brown Band – artistes who have made country music suddenly cool (and globally accepted).
