The Twisties Superstarz top eight finalists

The eight finalists who will battle it out in the Twisties Superstarz (in partnership with MTV) grand finals have already been revealed. 

After four gruelling weeks of searching for the best young talents in Malaysia, the eight finalists were handpicked by popular recording artistes Nadhira, JD (of Pop Shuvit), Rahul (One Buck Short) and Sasi The Don. 

Kraft Foods Malaysia marketing director Jason Chin said,”Twisties Superstarz is a platform for young Malaysians to express their creative musical talent. In partnership with MTV, Twisties is delighted provide opportunities to young Malaysians to realise their dream to be a superstar. 

“The eight finalists are young, brilliant and very talented individuals. It will be a tough but exciting battle to watch over the next two months before we crown the first Twisties Superstarz champion.” 

The talent competition winner will receive RM20,000 in cash as well as opportunities to produce a single and have it featured on MTV Southeast Asia. 

When asked about the quality of emerging young talents in Malaysia, JD said: “I think the quality of the talent is fantastic, it’s really awesome to see so many youths excited to get started in the music industry.”
