GET ready for some epic stories as the BRATs take over Genting Highlands for the first BRATs Camp of 2017, which will be held at the five-star Awana Hotel!
There’s more to the popular tourist site than meets the eye, and 30 teens will have a chance to uncover some super awesome stories while they undergo their journalism training.
The four-day, three-night workshop will include workshops on writing, photography, videography and social media reporting, as well as exciting field assignments. All stories and videos written by the BRATs will be published in The Star.
After the camp, they will also have the chance to continue honing their journalistic skills by becoming regular contributors to The Star’s education section (StarEducate), and they’ll also have first dibs on internship positions with the award-winning R.AGE team.
It’s going to be exciting times, and it’s still not too late for you to join!
We’re extending our deadline to March 3, so if you haven’t applied yet, what are you waiting for?
