So hands up if you’re a sucker for giant robots and vintage World War II games.
Fantasy Flight Games just announced on July 30 that Dust Tactics, a “tactical miniatures boardgame”, will debut in the upcoming GenCon gaming convention and exhibition.
Set in an alternate reality where World War II is still raging in 1947, 8 years after Nazi Germany invaded Poland, Dust Tactics allows two players to engage in a little miniature mayhem using soldiers and mechs. The boxed product will have 30 miniatures, 9 double-sided terrain boards, 12 custom die, unit cards and a variety of plastic terrain.
If the setting is familiar, Dust Tactics is actually based on Dust, a miniatures-based world domination boardgame which was unleashed on hapless gamers several years back.
The rules are already available here, while do check out a cool video teaser on it here (remember to pick up your jaw again after).
So, get ready for Dust Tactics!
