YOU should already know by now that I’m a huge fan of the Brangelina clan. I love Brad Pitt, (not so) secretly wish to be like Angelina Jolie and don’t mind quitting my job to work as a nanny for the kids.

Personally, Shiloh is my favourite Jolie-Pitt of the bunch. That is partly because she is Brad and Angie’s first biological child and the little tyke can do no wrong in my eyes.

So when stories started circulating on blogs and magazines that Shiloh is a disturbed child and is slowly turning into a boy, I was a little upset. Okay, a lot upset.

The whole hullaballoo started when Life & Style magazine ran a cover picture of Shiloh with a very boyish haircut and the headline – “Why is Angelina Turning Shiloh Into a Boy?”

The accompanying article touched on everything from how Shiloh is “pushing the boundaries of a tomboy look and crossing over to cross-dresser territory”, to how she responds to only boys’ names.

In an old interview with Oprah Winfrey, Brad revealed that his daughter referred to herself as John, after her favourite character in Peter Pan.

With the recent paparazzi shots of Shiloh dressing in hand-me-downs from her older brothers, people are making jokes that the little girl is fast becoming the next Chaz Bono.

Just in case you have no idea who that is, Chaz was the daughter of singers Sonny Bono and Cher, who recently underwent a sex change and is now legally a man.

Wow, to think that three-year-old Shiloh is going to have a sex change simply because she is more comfortable in jeans and T-shirt is plain ludicrous.

Yes, she’s not a girly girl like Suri (Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’s spawn who likes to dress up in frilly dresses, high heels and put on lipstick) but that doesn’t mean that Shiloh is not a girl altogether.

There are so many tomboys out there who don’t want to undergo sex change! They wear masculine clothes, walk with a swagger and talk tough, but once in a while, they surprise us with their utmost girlishness.

Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, Kristen Stewart and Keira Knightley are just some of the celebrities who were tomboys.

Even two of the world’s sexiest Jessicas used to be tomboys. Who would’ve guessed that Jessica Alba and Jessica Biel, famous for their to-die-for curves, luscious lips and stellar acting skills – okay, maybe not so much on the latter – proudly claim to be tomboys in their younger days?

Singers Pink and Ciara have muscular bodies, enjoy extreme sports and could pass off as boys once in a while. In her Like A Boy video clip, Ciara even portrayed a boy on purpose, but come red carpet time, the R&B singer is a sight to behold in her designer duds.

Meanwhile, rockstar Pink is in a happy relationship with motorcycle racer Carey Hart, and doesn’t plan on going under the knife to look more girly anytime soon.

Sharm says: Shiloh is just like all these grown up tomboys – a girl who likes to dress like a boy. Even if she decides to take her obsession with masculine clothes one level higher and undergoes a sex change in the future, it’s really not for us to judge.
