I’m not big on apps – but there’s this new one that has got me hooked!

Truth be told, I’m a waste of an iPhone user – sure I have the usual news apps, some games (I went through an Angry Birds addiction phase) and heaps of guidebooks but I hardly ever check out what’s new in the appstore.

Good thing someone suggested this awesome cool app called ‘Go Try It On’ – where you can get honest and helpful (not hurtful) opinions on your outfit/makeup/accessories before you head out!

No longer will you need to ask your indifferent man (face it, most of them just don’t get the difference between teal and aquamarine)  what he thinks you should be wearing, just get dressed and click away, the world will tell you how you’re doing 🙂

As well as getting opinions from people around the world about your look, you can also give opinions !

This is how it works : download the app, create a profile for yourself and start uploading pictures. If you’re not comfortable putting your face up you can opt to have a blur mask or just upload the pic from the neck down.

Your pic goes up and anyone who happens to be browsing through the app votes! Its a lot of fun and you also get to check out what people around the world are wearing 🙂

There’s also the option of uploading multiple pictures, and getting users to vote for which one you should wear, and most of the time they give suggestions on how you can improve your outfit.

So far, the comments have been mostly positive, and even the negative reviews break the news to you gently (this isn’t right for this event, the outfit needs something more, and so on).

Go on, give Go Try It On a try! I loved it 🙂 and guys, its not just for the ladies – there are heaps of men posting their looks too!
