AT the Teen Choice Awards 2010 in Los Angeles on Sunday, many young female starlets walked the red carpet in pretty outfits, showing off their personal style.
The awards show honours the year’s best achievements in music, movies, sports, television and fashion, all voted by teens aged 13 to 19 years old.
Check out what some of the nominees wore to the show, and how you, too, can get your hands on what they’re wearing:
Leighton Meester
Leighton, 24, took home the “Surfboard” (the trophy given out at the Teen Choice Awards) for winning the best actress in a drama award for her role in Gossip Girl.
The brunette bombshell dressed very much like her Upper East Side New York character in the show – she had on a long-sleeved white minidress from Emilio Pucci, with just a hint of makeup. She looked fresh and pretty, with the dress giving out a summer-y vibe.
Get this look: You can find good knock-offs of this dress in many of the highstreet fashion stores, but if you want something more unique, head out to Jalan Telawi in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur, and check out the small boutiques there.
Kristen Bell
Kristen looked like a ball of fun at the awards show, and could have passed for a teenager in her get-up, which she match with an updo and long fringe. She looked chic in her red Stella McCartney sleeveless top worn over a beautiful embroidered strapless minidress, which she paired with Brian Atwood shoes.
Get this look: Want to impress your friends in a hot dress like this one? Forever 21 has at least three similar designs, and they have them with sleeves and without, too.
Ashley Greene
Twilight vamp Ashley looked fresh and chic in this pale pink strapless Valentino dress embossed with floral patterns, and black Ferragamo shoes.
With a beautiful tan, minimal makeup and simple accessories, this look makes one appear elegant, but without having tried too hard.
Get this look: Miss Selfridge, Warehouse and a host of other highstreet brand stores have a good selection of black lace bustier dresses. They’re not exact matches to this Valentino gem, but they’re still pretty.
Naya Rivera
Naya from hit show Glee wore a 1950s-inspired strapless dress with a full skirt and ruffled bustline, which she paired with sky-high beige closed-toe heels. Though I don’t quite agree with skipping on the accessories, the dress is pretty and her shoes are absolutely gorgeous.
Get this look: It may be a little challenging to find a dress exactly like this, but local brand Tangoo and local store Egete do have some cool tea dance/prom dresses. For shoes, Aldo has a version of those nude/beige beauties on sale at the moment.
Kim Kardashian
Kim always looks great in assymetrical tops and dresses, and this short black dress, with embellishments on one sleeve, is no exception. Although Kim looks better wearing her long locks loose as opposed to this over-pulled ponytail, she still turned out fantastic.
However, she could’ve opted for a little more coverage where her dress is concerned, this was a kid’s show after all.
Get this look: Those embellished sleeves are everywhere, but by far the best brands that carry this look is Warehouse. For more options, check out the numerous blogshops online – it’s one of today’s hottest looks.
