HOLLYWOOD celebrities took some time off their busy schedules to spend their well-earned (millions of) dollars last weekend and by the looks of it, they had quite a blast doing just that.

Tom and Katie had an awesome weekend

Dear ol’ Tom Cruise turned 49 on Sunday and his family was by his side to celebrate the special occasion. His (Stepford) wife Katie Holmes, kids Connor and Suri were present at the pool party in Miami, Florida, with other relatives and friends.
His eldest daughter Bella was not around although she did attend the surprise birthday dinner the night before.

Tom got into the party mood with his younger daughter as they both got their faces painted even before the pool party started.
Sharm says: I wonder what Katie got Tom. A pair of heeled shoes perhaps?

High School Musical alum Ashley Tisdale celebrated her 26th birthday by the beach in Malibu, California, on Saturday and guess who was there to get the party started? Her former HSM co-star Zac Efron!
In case you don’t remember, Zac also used to date Ashley’s bff Vanessa Hudgens (who was nowhere to be seen at the said party).

They had a such a blast together and the paparazzi caught a few shots of Zac giving Ashley a piggy-back ride. Later into the party, Ashley was photographed sitting on Zac’s shoulders, with her legs wrapped around his neck. Onlookers said that the duo acted like they were more than friends although later she tweeted this: “So happy zacary made it to my party!!! He’s my brother/best friend!!!”

Sharm says: Erm, didn’t Selena Gomez tell Ellen DeGeneres that she thinks of Justin Bieber as her brother? And look at them now. Just sayin’.

No one thought she would they’dlive to see this day, but the queen of all parties, Lindsay Lohan, had a surprisingly boring (by her standards) birthday party on Sunday. The troubled starlet, who just managed to stay out of jail after violating her probations last week, turned 25 amid her closest family members and friends.
The actress had a nice and quiet dinner at the Tony’s Taverna restaurant in Malibu and left before midnight. She was seen heading back straight to her home and did not sneak out for a late night party afterwards.
Sharm says: Now if only she behaves this well for the rest of her life …

Paris Hilton proved that she was born to party when she hosted several “4th of July” (also known as Independence day in the United States) parties over the weekend. Her sister Nicky and friends pals were around to help celebrate the event at the multi-million dollar beach house Paris rented for the weekend.
The hotel heiress was also seen playing the role of paparazzi as she took a few shots of her partying friends.

Sharm says: I miss the days Paris and Nicole Richie partied together!
