I checked out what the ladies wore to the final casting of the Miss Universe Malaysia 2010.

AFRAID I would have trouble finding a parking spot at the venue for the Miss Universe Malaysia 2010 pageant casting call in Kuala Lumpur last Saturday, I left the house early and made it to the event at 9am sharp.

This was the final casting call for this year’s pageant (the previous one in Penang only saw four hopefuls!), and I was worried about missing out on some hot looks and stunning makeup painstakingly applied by the participants should I arrive late.

Suprisingly, many did not quite adhere to the requirements stated on the website to come in ”full hair and makeup with stunning dress”.

In fact, many looked like they were about to head to class or the mall for the day. Thankfully, though, despite the lack of stunning looks, I caught a few hotties who actually stood out.

Durin Edward, 21

Durin came in a simple purple dress but gave it some shape with a red belt. She paid keen attention to her makeup, rocking the smokey-eyes look so early in the morning.

Joey Hui, 20

Joey attracted glances from the other hopefuls in this knee-length, strapless silver dress, which she paired with simple black and gold heels.

Felixia Yeap, 23

Felixia decided to go with the ”playful” look in this dungaree dress and black tank top, complete with a fascinator in her hair.

Hai Yuan’s colourful dress and black cross-front spiked heels made her stand out among the rest.

Dalvin Parsh, 23

Dalvin appeared the most laid-back of all applicants, showing up in a pair of tights, a plain long top and black peep-toe heels.
