So are you ready to try out some new Magic cards? Well, judging by Wizards.com and Mananation.com spoilers, not just any Magic cards.

The new set, New Phyrexia, looks like it should have plenty of legs (and henceforth, promise), as it’s set to debut mid-May.

I’ve left Magic for now, but some of the stuff here, looks too darned awesome to miss.

Chancellor of the Dross

It’s commendable that Wizards is amping up the power levels in this set, as IMHO, the previous set, Mirrodin Besieged, just didn’t have that must-buy factor, apart from being able to score Tezzereth.

How much will the new set shake up the tournament scene? Let’s see, there’s talk of more than one infinite combos already, which is plain fun (and nuts!).
