It’s not gonna happen. Negotiations with Daryl Goh from TAG lasted all of two seconds in the hallways of The Star’s features section.

“Hey, why don’t you come DJ for us?” I said to Daryl, the famed entertainment writer, Liverpool fanatic and DJ-by-night those desk is like ten feet away from mine.

“No lah,” he replied, before turning back to his work.

I don’t know what I did wrong. Was it that I didn’t offer any money? Or was the prospect of performing after a super cool Stevie Wonder tribute band too daunting? Hmmm…

Sigh. At least he’s agreed to come watch us play. If anybody feels like persuading him to change his mind, feel free to use the comments as a public petition space.
