THIS Sunday is Father’s Day, a day dedicated to fathers around the world.

In fact, it shouldn’t be the only day when we show appreciation to the man who helped bring us into the world.

We should appreciate our dads throughout the year and everyday should be a Father’s Day (and Mother’s Day, Teacher’s Day, Valentine’s Day … aiyah just appreciate everyone in your life, everyday lah!)

I will be celebrating this special day with my father, who is the most awesome dad in the whole wide world, and I thought it would be nice to recognise some of the other equally awesome father figures. This is where I need your help.

You see, Sharm On The Scene is organising its very first Celebrity Father Of The Year awards and I have a few nominees already, but no winners yet. You have to help me choose the winner because if it were up to me, Brad Pitt and only Brad Pitt would win that honour.

Nominee #1: Brad Pitt

Known for: Being the most gorgeous man on Earth. Brad has appeared in movies like The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button, Snatch, Fight Club and many more. He was married to Jennifer Aniston.

Baby details: Has six kids — three biological, three adopted: Maddox, 10, Pax, 7, Zahara, 5, Shiloh, 4, Knox and Vivienne, 2.

Why he should win: Simply because he’s the most gorgeous man on Earth, and all the humanitarian work he’s done around the world. And oh … also for being Angelina Jolie’s main man.

Nominee #2: Johnny Depp

Known for: His classic good looks and undeniable acting talent. His hits include Pirates Of The Caribbean, Alice In Wonderland and Charlie And The Chocolate Factory.

Baby details: Johnny is father to two children — Lily-Rose, 11, and Jack, 8 — with his longtime partner, Vanessa Paradis.

Why he should win: Because he’s the epitome of cool.

Nominee #3: David Beckham

Known for: His way with a ball. One of the best football players of the century (or the most good looking one, at least), David has made football popular among the Hollywood celebrities, a feat nobody else has achieved.

Baby details: Three boys — Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, 8, and Cruz, 5. His baby mama, Victoria Beckham, has hinted that they may try for a fourth child, a girl, hopefully.

Why he should win: Because he’s one hot fashionable dad and the world can’t stop looking at him — on and off the football pitch.

Nominee #4: Will Smith

Known for: His sense of humour. Will has gone far from his Fresh Prince Of Bel Air days and now is a bankable action and drama star who’s capable of raking in big money. The actor was last seen in Seven Pounds and I Am Legend, and is currently working on producing TV series.

Baby details: Trey, 17, and two kids with Jada Pinkett-Smith — Jaden, 12, and Willow, 10.

Why he should win: For being so cool about his son Jaden taking over the movie screen (The Karate Kid) instead of him.

Nominee #5: Hugh Jackman

Known for: Being a beast. Who could forget the scene in which Hugh’s character emerges from the water tank in X-Men Origins: Wolverine? Okay, wipe that drool now. Hugh has also acted in dramatic roles like in Australia and The Prestige.

Baby details: Together with his wife Deborra-Lee Furness, Hugh has two adoptive kids Oscar, 10, and Ava, 5.

Why he should win: Who else could make scruffy look unbelievably hot?
